The street lighting of the local - and major roads - was...
The street lighting of the local - and major roads - was intermittent. In some areas of road - including the M4 - there is NO lightning at all, yet the speed limit on these pitch black windy country lanes is 60mph!?! Felt VERY nervous driving to or from anywhere in the area in the dark. Pubs stop serving food almost everywhere at about 2000 Mon-Thurs, which is not helpful if you’ve been out further afield for the day. However, the majority of the pubs we did get to - especially the local ones - served tasty cheap food and were (for the most part) welcoming to outsiders.ChrisUnited Kingdom

The room number 4 has got a beautiful, large bathroom and a fantastic, king size bed. The mattress was very comfortable. Hotel is situated close to M4 so you have got easy access to make some fantastic trips. Thank you Phil for lovely weekend

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the breakfast plentiful. It was lovely to see all the animals - hens, ducks, geese, sheep, turkeys, pigs etc!
