What a lovely hotel in a beautiful area. Upon booking, the hotel looked a lovely place to stay but was even nicer than we expected. Excellent value for the price.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were lovely and comfy (we had a double, our friends paid a little extra for the king). There are lots of original features of the building that compliment its character and I loved hearing the church bells ringing in the morning.
We didn't eat here but ate at the Indian restaurant in the evening that's joined to the building which everyone really enjoyed - apparently they are moving around the corner soon.
Location was great with lovely scenery and a few pubs within walking distance with good beer gardens which we enjoyed in the sunshine, a craft beer place opposite the hotel and a place around the corner that often has live music. What more could you want!
One of our party also enjoyed a visit to Roger Wilkins cider farm on the way - apparently a must for cider drinkers and cheese lovers!
We were hoping to book another overnight stay in the next few months but I was sad to see they are fully booked on weekends for a while which says a lot.
The Grange Hotel Brent Knoll provides accommodation in Brent Knoll. The hotel features a 24 hour front desk and provides guests with a bar. There is a large sun terrace and beautiful gardens.

It was a quirky place to stay , the owner was a lovely man and very chatty and friendly.
We had a dog friendly room which literally had a little dog room with a bed and bowl for your 4 legged friend! There is plenty of fields to walk them too.
Food was good.

Hotel was very dirty, lots of dust behind the bed, broken plug sockets, the only thing that was a plus was the location and I must admit the staff were very accommodating, it’s just unfortunate the room was not up to scratch.

The area looked nice, was handy for lots of places of interest, coast etc. The Chapel annex would have been OK for our planned 3 day stay, but as owner unaware we were there we left immediately as he had a an open viewing day planned & we felt very uncomfortable under the circumstances

Mark is a village with a very long main street, couple of miles, with a pub and a village shop both of which I can recommend. It's a 10 min drive to the coast and has good road links to larger towns. It is surrounded by larger, pretty stone-built villages with lots of history, pubs and cafes, not far from Glastonbury.
