Our welcome and settling in was fab. Dawn is lovely. The bed was so comfortable and it was spotlessly clean in my room and the en suite. Nice and warm too. The breakfast was spot on! We met Greg then, and he was equally as friendly as Dawn. Everything was cooked well and my vegetarian preference well catered for.

The property was well tucked away in a elevated position but was still a short drive away from the main road in Pant. On arriving found the private entrance and parkin was more than adequate, with space to turn around.
The property itself is very well appointed with a nice clean modern kitchen/dining area and lounge, with a double bedroom and en suite shower room.
There was everything needed to cook whatever meals you wanted to with a large enough fridge to cater for most people. Nice touch was to leave milk, eggs an biscuit etc. for those who might forget to bring these / as a welcome treat on arival.
There is free wifi which was a bonus, and needed for those wanting to access the internet etc. as there is zero mobile phone signal at the property (we use O2 and three sims).
The shower room is nicely tiled, very clean, with plenty of towels provided.
The double bed is extremely comfortable, and with an electric heater in the bedroom and lounge, plus an electric towel rail in the shower room to adjust the temperature to everyone's liking. As it is extremely quiet in this property, sleep was not an issue!
The property is very dog friendly, with dogs allowed inside the property as long as you dog is kept off the sofa/bed i.e. perfectly acceptable. The property is also fully enclosed to allow your dog to roam in the large area provided, plus the added benefit of a large dog kennel to use if needed. The walks from the property are also pretty special.
A family-run grade ll listed accommodations in the heart of the Welsh countryside, Ty Llew has a bar, a restaurant, and 2 car parks with free parking.

Very friendly owners, comfortable clean room, excellent dinner and breakfast and wine for a good price. It was a great quiet place to pass through for the night, and would recommend it to others

A beautiful, fully equipped cottage right next to a river, which has fishing rights. To wake up to the sound of birds is lovely. A great place for countryside and river walks. Shropshire is a stunning county with plenty of tourist attractions within a 30 minute drive.

The place had a very bad flea infestation and we were severely bitten. The carpet was covered in dog hairs ,badly soiled and full of fleas and both beds had a number of fleas in them.
I have photographic evidence of a lot of them running over my wife’s ankle and this was witnessed by Mrs. Bareham herself.
Unfortunately we brought the fleas home with us and have to have our house fumigated
I had to see my doctor who gave me antibiotics , hydrocortisone cream and anti histamine tablets.

A lovely village with friendly local’s on hand to point you in the right direction . Always had people stopping me chatting with the dog . Melverley can be approached from off the Main road , takes around 10 minutes however you are met by a private , gated entrance to the property which makes it secluded .
