Location was great, room was spacious and well cleaned. Air con unit/ fan was very much needed as the room was very hot because of an unusually warm weekend we were pleasantly surprised to see it in the wardrobe.

I Love Morecambe.
I Love Morecambe. There is a good community feel about Morecambe. i have wonderful Tai reasonably priced massages when I am there. There are street plantings and lots of seating. Good charity shops. Very good eating places. Lots of inspiring street art. The Morecambe bay views and sunsets are fantastic and the northern lights can be viewed from there. We ate plant based food at the Midland Hotel which was reasonably priced. It is easy to get around. the buses are regular and you can get rides in pony traps. I would never go to The Clifton hotel again but it was cheap.

Some of it has been regenerated but it still needs a lot of money investing to bring it up to scratch.
There are very few places to eat at night.
Pubs and bars are run down.
Hopefully the Eden Project will inject new life into it.

Morecambe is in poor shape.
Morecambe is in poor shape. Boarded up and derelict buildings abound. Much of it has the feel of rougher areas of Manchester rather than a coastal resort almost in the Lake District. It also seems too spread out. Instead of the main things being centred around one area, they seem to be dotted about here and there, in a strange, disjoint way.
Exceptionally spotless, room extremely comfortable. Hosts, Trudie and Alan extremely friendly and professional, could not do enough and would go out of their way to help you. Alan and Trudie extremely polite and made you feel like at home, nothing was a bother or hassle to them. Location absolutely fabulous, overlooking Morecambe Bay, and near the town. Will always stay in Shipping Lanes Hotel when visit Morecambe, it's a DEFINITE must to visit and stay, certainly will not be disappointed.
The new diner menus suited both my wife and I , as we struggled with the temporary menus after lockdown. The quality of the food was excellent, as was the overall presentation on the plate, very professional.
The room was fist class as was the hotel.
The breakfast was great which was a surprise as the last time we were there ( September) breakfast experience was very poor, but I am glad to say that they have improved to a five star. The manager was very friendly as were the staff.
Lovely touch from the hosts with birthday balloons and wine left for us. Home is lovely and clean and longe area very spacious. Bed rooms once reached max occupancy is a bit snug. Good location for morecambe. Due to the time of year didn't get to try any facilities but seemed a nice park
Lovely little holiday home. Very cosy and very clean. Limited parking but its manageable. Central location, 3 minutes walk to seafront and the dog friendly Morecambe Hotel is virtually next door. Loved our stay house is cosy and well mantained. Its central and superb value for money
The hotel is an art-deco icon. It has been refurbished to a high standard in recent years. The rooms are quite small, but there is an ingenious use of space, so ingenious that I couldn't find the toilet until my wife worked out where it was! Great view across Morecambe Bay.
Excellent location, on Morecambe seafront. Extremely good value for money: an outstanding budget hotel experience. Clean, comfortable, and cosy room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Finally, the hotel has a great bar, on its ground floor! A brilliant hotel!
The hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the shops etc. We stayed in a pleasant twin room. It didn't have sea views but was fine for our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast was good, with a range of choices.
Staff were very helpful.
Caravan was clean and tidy with all the things you need like bedding, hand wash, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc. Nice small site, kids enjoyed it. Good communication from owner of caravan, will definitely use again if heading to Morecambe.
The reception staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was tasty and the service was excellent, we were offered extra toast and coffee which was very welcome, the hotel was clean and tidy and had a lovely view of Morecambe Bay.
