The location is exceptional but the property was in need of some love obviously it’s not expensive and as we were just there for one night and left early the next day it wasn’t a problem but there was no outside light so turning up in the dark is rather difficult the room was cramped a bed up against the wardrobe so you couldn’t hang up clothes which was fine for us if your going Trekking it’s fine to just sleep and leave and in the summer I’m sure it’s nice with the amazing surroundings

This is a real gem of a place. Not being vegans, we didn't know what to expect, and upon reading the welcome pack we were worried it would be too strict for us (no non-vegan food in the property, for example). Things like trying to save water and recycling we're all for, and we didn't feel judged despite bringing a lot of luggage :)
By the end of the trip, we both agreed it was one of the best places we had stayed. The host was incredibly friendly, the breakfast was superb and we had a great chat with the other guests. The room was absolutely impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. It's a very special little place, and if it gets people thinking a little about their impact on the environment as well then all the better!
