We just came back from a weekend spent there and I must say everything was amazing. We stayed into a cottage and it was very spacious, with 2 showers. It was just opposite their playground and mini golf. Our girl enjoyed that very much and we did, too. Also, the pool was really nice, the water was warm, they had a jacuzzi and 2 saunas. So had plenty of relaxation as well. We would definitely go back.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Nothing is too much. They make you feel at home and they were amazing with my pug. We come every year and even though the owners are currently not front of house like they have been in previous years, it was still the same standard of service. We look forward to seeing them back next year.

The property is in a fabulous location right on the quay and you can get the ferry across to Instow daily.
We were lucky to always find a parking space in the car park.
We had a lovely big family room with a large king size bed and wonderful views. The bathroom was big and very well decorated.
Nice little touches including biscuits, milk and tap water complimentary with a selection of items to buy too.
The decor of the pub was lovely and there was good outside space at the front, side and rear (perfect for sitting in the sun).
The food was a little hit and miss but my husband enjoyed the full Devon breakfast that he had every morning.
The breakfast options were good with a fresh selection provided each morning in the bar.

Its a clean basic B&B with a very comfy bed. The kettle was very efficient. The breakfast was good and the staff lovely. Lots of hot water.

We had a really warm welcome & were delighted with our large and pretty room with cake & fresh milk on the hostess tray.. Our breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola & fruit juice waiting on our table. Our bed was huge & comfortable: the room was very quiet and overlooked the Grade 1 listed church. We took our cycles with us and were able to keep them locked in a garage. All in all, a lovely property.

We travelled to Appledore from Northam by taxi for dinner. Less than 10 minutes away. Lovely pub, Seagate, brilliant food right on the seafront. We only stayed one night so didn't see much of the local area other than the beach just down from where we stayed. The beach was absolutely huge and we will definitely visit again. A links golf course also interested my hubby who is a keen golfer.
