Bedrooms were clean and tidy. We were the only 2 guests at the hotel that night so had our pick of rooms. Food was nice but we arrived at the tail end of sunday lunch service so choice was limited and there was no evening service. My colleague twisted her ankle prior to arriving and the staff were lovely, super helpful and made her an ice pack. Luca was a star, definitely employee of the month!!

Everything. The room was fitted and decorated to a very high standard and was exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was excellent. A wide choice of fruits, cerials, cooked options and drinks.
The hosts were attentive, friendly and helpful, a delightful couple.
Location was within easy reach of places to visit.

Great location with a good selection of National Trust properties nearby. The views from the cottage were lovely and the hosts were the best we have ever had. They made us so welcome from the moment we arrived and made the stay a 5* experience.
