Hi, the rooms smelt a little musky/damp.
The food prices were fairly expensive however the actually quality and portion size was not value for money. We stayed elsewhere and paid similar prices however the food quality and portion size was relative to the price paid.
My wife paid for adult pasta however this was smaller if not just the same as child portion! We will not be booking here again I am afraid.

A quiet village about 10 minutes from the M6 north of Carlisle alongside the River Eden. Apart from Church View, the pub has re-opened (hooray), but does not currently serve food after 5 on Sunday (a disappointment).
