I was simply horrified, Its a dirty hovel. The location might work for some, but is a bit out of the way if you are travelling North bound. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, but having seen how grubby the bedrooms are it makes one wonder what state the kitchen and other none public areas are in. In future I would stick with the budget chain hotels as apposed to risking an uncomfortable night again in a grubby place like this. Come on guys, a lick of paint, a clean bathroom, clean carpets and fresh bed linen is 'basic'. A very disappointing experience indeed.AAnonymousUnited Kingdom

It was a friendly check in and where some maintenance was taking place they made sure to communicate. The old building and the surroundings had charm and the local walks were brilliant even in the rain! The addition of the Nespresso machine was nice.
