The lovely touch the staff did for our anniversary . Left a card with balloons on the bed . Beds were very comfortable, staff so friendly & helpful. One of the quietest hotels we've stayed in. Breakfast was great, so much choice. Would definitely love to stay again . Close to everything and just around the corner from train station.

Great breakfast, nice touches in the room (eyemask and earplugs, cotton buds, water bottles), amazing shower. I really liked not having the clutter of tea/coffee facilities and just being able to make hot drinks in the separate room if wanted - and I appreciated that there were herbal teas there!

Proper pub, lovely atmosphere, great food, large selection of local ciders etc. staff were extremely accommodating & kind. Every pub should be like this one. Room was very well done out. Bed very comfortable & spacious. Immaculately clean. Genuinely flawless. Roast dinner is a top draw as as-well as breakfast being right up there. Would/will definitely return
