Wonderful pastoral view & quiet isolation at this site - the pod was small as expected but also well equipped and very clean, Wayne was most helpful in getting us settled in, & allowed us to refreeze ice bags in his garage freezer. And my wife saw her first Highland Coos in a field nearby!

What a beautiful little Inn along the NC500 with a great history! We stayed in the Deluxe King room with a balcony that had a lovely view. The bed was comfortable, and the shower glorious, with plenty of hot water and great pressure. Dinner was AMAZING with delicious local seafood. The breakfast that came with our stay was equally wonderful. We appreciated the honor bar was filled with non-alcoholic items as well.

Great location and staff. Staff were attentive and nice, super informative and accommodating. Individual curtained rooms allowed for sufficient privacy for a shared room. Very comfy and very warm for a autumn stay. Good social areas with a wood-burner meant it felt very sheltered from the elements. Beds were surprisingly comfy for bunk beds, shower was great. Very safe.
