The boutique room exceeded our expectations, the isolated rooms with own entrance and super high vaulted ceiling and the decor made us feel in our own house rather than a hotel room. The pub serves excellent food and Brockenhurst is perfectly located to explore New Forest.

Many, many positives.
Great curb appeal. Very welcoming feel. Staff are very friendly, dogs are very well looked after here. They receive a goodie bag and a bowl of water at every meal. A lovely paddock overlooking local horses for the dogs to exercise and use the toilet. Beautiful bathroom, large, very clean and well maintained bedrooms ( new build ). Food is 10/10, we enjoyed all of our meals.we could see the restaurant was always busy with events such as birthdays. Location is great, walked to the beach within 20 mins. We would love to visit again in the future.

Sway is a large village with a play ground, a few shops and a couple of pubs. Easy routes out to New Forest. Hotel provided walking routes for this area.
Hotel is in quiet location. Station is in village but we weren't aware of train noise at hotel.
Lovely place to stay as within easy reach of Forest and all it's attractions.

Sway was right where we needed to be to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas. Great pub, the Hare and Hounds that does all day food. And of course, our excellent accommodation was in Sway, Hunters Croft. Just perfect!

As you enter the town, you'll start seeing signs to be careful with animals, with pictures or cows and horses. Then you see them just roaming freely around the town, alongside people. It was definitely a sight to see!
There are lots of walks in the New Forest that you can follow in a tourist map, and also it was easy to get to the Co-op and the local pub from our location.

I was attending a two-day Art course at the SpudWorks just down the road , so it was perfect to stay at The Manor at Sway . There's a good Co-op opposite if one has forgotten anything and also nice pubs nearby. Sway seems a good location as a base for the coast or for the New Forest.
First night had dinner at the hotel, was delicious, quite expensive but great as a treat when one is tired from long journey.

This is a good location to stay in for exploring other areas of the New Forest. It isn't far from the main towns and is a lovely quiet area. There are local conveniences available such as a coffee shop & a Co-op store. When we stayed here it was raining so we weren't able to explore the local area too much.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Good breakfast choice.
Pleasant, helpful staff. Good breakfast choice. Comfortable lounge area to relax in. Lovely terrace to sit on overlooking the garden. Good location for pubs and walks. Pharmacy, post office, Budgens and Co-op all within walking distance.
Really lovely, modern facilities. Loved the lighting/music system! Pretty and well kept farm. Lovely little outside garden spaces in the cottages we stayed in. Nice touch with the flapjacks, marshmallows and tea and coffee left for guests. Fairly easy walk into Sway / easy enough to get train into Brockenhurst. Having tennis courts available is really handy! Great for a group of friends wanting to stay separately but also be right next door to each other. We had a lot of fun despite the rain!
The location is great, right by the train station in Sway. There are New Forest walks almost from the front door. There are two nice pubs in the village, within a 5 min walk, that do food and the Manor also does evening food
although we didn’t get a chance to try it. The breakfasts were really nice and it was included in our room rate which was a great value. It’s one quick train ride to the beach too, so you can enjoy both forest and sea staying at the Manor.
We loved our stay at Winter Haven Cottage, the cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. Louise was an excellent host and very quick to respond to any questions. The location of the cottage is incredible, it is just a 2 min walk from beautiful heathland, so perfect for a morning walk with the dog. We recommend the Hare and Hounds pub which is just round the corner and The Forest Deli Sway which does a amazing breakfast! We will be back :)
We wanted somewhere quiet & relaxing to stay; to enjoy each other’s company & not have to think about the 9-5. The Nest provided just that, it’s located perfectly to explore the New Forest. Melissa’s such a gracious host & very welcoming. We enjoyed the bubbles & chocolate too ☺️ The Nest was lovely & clean, everything there is well thought out & to a high quality. Loved stargazing in bed from the mezzanine.
The hotel is located within easy reach of great areas of the New Forest, towns and sites of interest. The staff are very welcoming and Tim the owner went above and beyond to meet a last minute request for roses in our room. The beverages including alcohol were very well priced and compared with local establishments. The breakfast was exceptional and exceeded expectations.
There was nothing to fault about the hotel.
The staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely, it was my birthday so we had an evening meal there too & it was perfect, even sat outside afterwards for a drink. Especially liked the decor it had been done to a very high standard. Train station was 2 minutes walk away so we didn’t need to take the car all the time.
On arrival we were greeted and explained our room had been upgraded - a good start! Tim our host was most gracious and nothing was too much trouble. We chose to eat in the hotel afternoon tea dinner and breakfast and in fact all the staff we came into contact with were very polite and helpful. Food was pretty good too.
The cabin was very spacious and so much better than the conventional hotel room for a week long holiday break. The on-site shop was sadly over priced but New Milton is an 8 minute drive away for shopping. Surprisingly quiet with so many young kids running around. My 6 year old enjoyed all the amenities.
The cottage was quiet, clean and well equipped.
We loved the design - it was clearly done with care and attention to detail.
We also loved the proximity to Sway centre where we had a pub meal, breakfast and bought items from the shop. Very convenient.
We would certainly return if in the are again!
Beautiful, quirky cottage in the heart of Sway. A 10 minute walk to the station and surrounded by beautiful wildlife and countryside.
Easy to collect keys and parking right outside the door. Host, Louise, was at hand if anything was needed and was courteous and attentive throughout.
The breakfasts, including the choice, were excellent and we had dinner twice in the hotel during our stay because the food was beautifully cooked and the quality excellent. Compliments to the chef, to Tim and the staff who looked after us so well.
The location was perfect, in a lovely section of the New Forest. The host was very warm and welcoming. The Nest is a very well designed, comfortable and romantic spot. I would 100% recommend to anyone, travelling solo or as a couple.
Loved this hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked really well with a good choice. We had Sunday lunch and that was really lovely. Nice terrace to sit out looking into the gardens. Very clean too.
Superb cottage. Clean. Newly decorated. Great size. Better than many 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Carl the owner is very friendly, on site and any query was answered immediately.
We had a fab time, the caravan was lovely and so much better than staying in a hotel. We loved the facilities and set off to Peppa Pig World the following day.
The hotel was just lovely, such attention to detail to decor, the food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. And all in a stunning setting.
