Tarbolton is only a small country town, but the Black Bull exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower was amazing. It was a hot couple of days, but the room included a fan, and I was able to open the window. The adjoining restaurant provided great menu options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was exceptional. We were there to take the morning ferry to Arran and the ferry terminal was only a 6 minute drive away. We also had our evening meal there which was also very good.
