It was clean and airy. Bed was very comfortable and en suite was a good size. The manager greeted us and took us to our room and she was very friendly.
Breakfast was serve yourself but there was plenty of choice and the dining area was roomy.

Easy to get to and find, car park at the rear. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Free pool and snooker on the day we stayed. Room was a good size with 2 x queen size beds that were very comfortable. Ear plugs were provided due to an event on the night (Saturday). We didn't find it noisy and all was quiet from around 11.15pm anyway after the bar had closed and the evenings event completed at 11pm.

There was a park with Lakes, ducks, fishing and a cafe with parking almost accross the road from our stay. It was local to the buisness we needed to do. People friendly. Lots of shops. Two train stations. Other bigger park with childrens play area and train track other side of Thorne.
Have been there before. Didnt eat in there this time. Went to a small local village. Can be busy in the town centre but ok. Locals seem to like it there.
As this was still during Covid normal breakfast was not applied however the hot rolls were just as nice. You can expect to have the warmest of welcome which is its plus points and easy access into Thorne and surrounding areas. The bar is nice and food was good.
