We had a tire that was leaking air. They had a friend who has a car repair business on their personal property - that person identified a small leak on the tire sidewall, so the tire would need to be replaced. The Smithfield then called around and found a shop that had our tire size and they make an appointment for us to get the tire replaced. This was amazing because the local tire shops were slammed with business and somehow, they got us an appointment quickly. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help us with our tire problem and we are extremely grateful for that! Breakfast and dinner were very good!

Breakfast was great. Location was coinvent to shopping and local restaurants. Parking was a little hard. Public car park nearby, but had to get free ticket every hour till 5PM, then free all night. Out the next morning. Small town and able to get our clothes washed in a nearby laundromat.

An absolutely beautiful place. If you love nature, hiking, the ocean and plenty of history, this is the perfect place. To take full advantage of Orkney, I would suggest having your own car. We had an amazing time. I would definitely do it again. ❤
