The room was very spacious and the shower excellent. The kitchen and pub itself is what makes staying here fantastic however; you won’t find better traditional pub food in a more homely environment with friendlier staff.

Chancery House, hotel in Twitchen

Featuring free WiFi, Chancery House offers accommodations 5.6 mi from South Molton, 29 mi from Exeter. Free private parking is available on site. The rooms include a flat-screen TV.

Friendly and a bonus to stay at a B&B run by a genuine local. Alan used to be a dairy farmer (Ayrshire cattle) as well as rearing Close Wool Cross sheep). I think that's why he appreciates that travellers want a good 'proper' English breakfast. The fried potato cubes are very moreish). The room temperature was just right. No bath in my room but the shower pressure was fab and full temperature control. The WiFi in inclusive. Password provided so you don't need to ask. Parking right outside. Way cheaper than PI and also better value than TL by the time you put any extra on / pay for separate parking.. but most importantly good old fashioned customer service. I arrived late but was greeted by Alan which was really appreciated. All for £50.

Kings B&B, hotel in Twitchen

Kings B&B offers accommodations in South Molton, 19 miles from Tiverton Castle and 21 miles from Lundy Island.

Breakfast was very good. Adjustments to the list of options were undertaken by the hosts if at all possible. With SECURE PARKING and the location just off the main street there was plenty to do within walking distance. If we did need our vehicle, arrangements could be made at breakfast time and host's mobile number enabled guests to keep in touch. Very handy for touring North Devon and Exmoor.

Amazing caravan stay. We enjoyed the comfy beds and sofa.

Amazing caravan stay. We enjoyed the comfy beds and sofa. It was great looking out on the donkeys and visiting Sam the pig. Amazing time in the countryside. We had an evening firepit and watched the stars lying on a picnic blanket in the field. We walked at Tarr steps, paddleboarded at Wimbleball lake and had afternoon tea at Rachel's in South Molton.

    The accommodation was as described.

The accommodation was as described. On arrival we met ourhost. She had thoughtfully bought bread eggs butter and milk and it was a lovely surprise to get us started.we would go again as we enjoyed superb scenery and the wonderful peace . Lots of leaflets were given to us so we could decide where to go. Overall a very happy stay. The tv was a bit slow ,it came on and offbut may be due to the signal in that area I had the same problem with our mobile phone in various North Devon areas.

So quiet, beautiful views, lots of potential walks, and in the Exmoor National Park. Just a short drive from dramatic moorland, Tarr Steps and Withypool, and not too far to the beautiful north Somerset & Devon coast.
