The location was beautiful, we had red squirrels visit us in the garden and to wake up to bird song, was just the best. The accommodation was so comfortable. We will be staying here again.

The hotel staff are very helpful. It was great value as I only paid £38 B&B for one night.
The hotel overall was in need of some renovation in the communal areas.
However it did have some unexpected facilities ( full size snooker table, darts and giant Jenga ).
Carpets were particularly old style.
Overall I would recommend for the price I paid.

We needed to leave early in the morning and the staff sorted out some sandwiches and yoghurt for a breakfast. Comfortable beds and we enjoyed the live music on a Friday night. Amazing view of the sunset from the garden.

The room was ridiculously small, just about turn round in the shower, squashed between the shower screen and wall on the toilet, tv didn't work, but it was clean.
An excellent base for a cycling holiday. The island is well supported with tracks and trails for cycling, and the car drivers are generally very willing to give time for safety of vulnerable road users.
