This is a great place in a beautiful area, under a mile off the coast path, the food is good with two vegetarian choices for sunday roast which we enjoyed and of course the ale went down very well also.
It's not just the place that made our stay here so good, a mention must go to all the team that work here, all were really helpful and even on the busy times had a smile on their face, without doubt they deserve a lot of credit.

This is a huge old hotel on an urban traffic island. Excellent beer (Sharp's Sea Fury), friendly and welcoming staff, but a bit of traffic noise. I'm sure it's a listed building but some secondary glazing would be helpful. Mad taps - instead of hot and cold, you've got a LH tap with pressure and a RH one to switch H and C. It's bonkers - why change a system everybody understands for one know one does (they had to put up a sign explaining it). Comfy bed, but the TV was mounted over the narrow area to cross from one side of bed to the other, perfect to bang your head!

Despite my husband being ill for most of the week Old Ford Farm Annex proved to be a relaxing place to stay set in beautiful gardens and countryside. Mike the owner was really helpful but never intrusive. Welcome gifts of wine and milk were appreciated along with essentials such as tea coffee sugar salt pepper dishwasher and washing machine tablets. We will return
