Great place we went out of season but there was still enough bars and tavernas open, but many more to open and they looked good also. We also had two dogs with us and we and them were welcome everywhere. Could not fault the friendly people and the hospitality we had at our hotel and bars and tavernas was first rate. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely fishermen’s town with great tavernas and bars/cafes. Chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice beach, again with good tavernas serving delicious Greek and international food. Walking distance between town, beach and hotels. Hidden gem for me.

It is in strategic position, central to reach beautyful beaches on the east and on the west of the village within 30 min-1 hour by car. It is also a small pictoresque and typical greekvillage with a small harbour, full of shop, markets, restaurants and services, but very quiet as well

After coming from Paleochora, I’m afraid Agia Galini was a huge disappointment. It looks tired and run down and the beach is less than spectacular. The view of the water from any restaurant is marred by the rather grotesque breakwater. I would advise folks to stay in Spili. A much prettier town.

Ag. Galini is a beautiful small city, located on the hill.
Ag. Galini is a beautiful small city, located on the hill. Although is a touristic place its quite and peaceful. Everything is near and you don't need the car to move around. The beach is beautiful and the local shops have a great variety. The local cuisine is delicious and the people very friendly.
Beautiful property! I had chosen to stay at the roof top room, which is different from all the rest of the rooms at this hotel, because you have all the roof top floor to yourself with he most beautiful terrace I have been to. The view is amazing, and you have all the amenities to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with great variety and a beautiful setting. Most of all - thanks to the amazing staff for being super nice and helpful!
Very nice place. We were at the hotel during September and it was very peaceful. We don't know how it is during July and August with all the kids.
The grounds are fabulous. We'll kept.
The room was very clean, larg, the bed was comfortable although it was 2 single combined. The resturant is very good. Breakfast and dinners were exalent. All the stuff were very nice and helpfull. We will be back to this hotel.
All.
Best place, clean, verry good value for the money. The host is a verry nice person, they ofer breckfast at good price.
Nice room, spacious, with fridge and balcony.
The village is like a little paradise, verry romantic place.
All the buildings are on the hill, narow little roads with shops and restaurants and tavernas.
Nice promenade.
. Close to triopera beach.
This lovely hotel is situated in the heart of Agia Galini and at walking distance from the beach. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast consists only of fresh products and varies every day. The staff is very welcoming and extremely helpful. For instance: they provide a special breakfast if you have food intolerance. Definitely a place to return.
The location was good, on the outskirts of Agia Galini, but only a short walk to shops, tavernas and the beach. Reserved and secure parking was a great bonus. The view from the terrace was certainly panoramic! The apartment was finished to a very high standard and every piece of kitchen equipment was available. A very enjoyable stay.
Ask for room 403. It is the best. There is a lift which makes things really easy. We stayed here 3 years ago and were delighted to return even if for only one night. The view from the balcony is superb. The hosts are really nice. Two minutes walk to beach and restaurants. We've stayed in many hotels in Greece, this is the best.
The Hotel ist perfectly located in Agia Galini and the view from the roof terrace was the best. The Studio Apartment was just perfect for 2. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Dimos was always there to help giving good advise. Very hospitable place and we will definitly come back, when we are in Crete again.
Value (quality you get compared to cost). Quality of room is better than expected. Very clean. Owner is diligent in cleaning the room. AC works well and quiet even during a heat wave (July 2022). I think the relatively low cost of the hotel room is mainly due to the high concentration of hotels in the small town.
Excellent breakfast/buffet. We enjoyed the dishes and in particular the large variety of vegetable dishes. Nice shaded pool area. The resort feels a lot smaller / more secluded than it is (ignoring the restaurant during buffet times). Nice place to stay when exploring the south side of Crete. Good price/quality ratio.
The breakfast was wonderful. Something I found a little odd though, also, with me being standard in Crete. The hotel I don’t give me one beach towel for the week, they wouldn’t wash it without 8 or 6? € fee. Other than that, had a great stay 😆
The hotel was in a very good location, with a great common area, surrounded by trees and nice views. The breakfast was unbelievable, every day a great new dish was made by the friendly hosts. For sure the best part of our stay.
Exceeded expectations, cozy room in a super cozy small town. Very friendly hosts, great breakfast, great view. Crete was an amazing trip and I could even say this unplanned day in Agia Galini at Akteon was among my favorite.
Room overlooked a cute courtyard. Service was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was tasty. The hotel is located a short walk from all the beaches
The hotel was nice and quiet with an authentic, family feel.
The host is very helpful and provides unique tips for beaches and restaurants. The place is well-styled and has a relaxed vibe. Thank you Panagiotis for our stay! Greetings from The Netherlands.
Hotel with the best location ever! Right on the beach - quiet but only short walk to the village.
Big room and huge swimmingpool.
Taverna on the beach serves good food.
