The property is peaceful, with beautiful landscape. The view of the palm forest from the balcony was perfect for relaxing in the morning and after a day spent at the beach. The washroom was clean and excellent warm water pressure. From the property, you walk down a palm-lined dirt road to the main road, where you can access the gorgeous Damnoni beach. There are taverns and a market close by too. From the beach, you can take a boat to Preveli, but Damnoni is much less busy and peaceful. Sitting and having coffee in the morning or raki in evening with the caretaker is a MUST. Hearing her stories and learning about the area was so much fun. It is a no-frills, easy going place. The architecture is beautiful, and crafted by the owner. If you’re looking for a 5 star, modern resort, don’t come here. But if you’re looking for peace, tranquility, and Greek magic, this is the place for you.

The pool is amazing, really deep and large; perfect for escaping from the heat. The breakfast is very good; there are many options and delicious homemade biscuits too. The location is perfect as it is overlooking Plakias but far enough from the crowds. The staff is overall good and attentive. They gave us very good tips on local restaurants and beaches.
