The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was good. I liked very much the food from dinner. It was every day something else and very yummy. The staff is very nice except ADA from breakfast ( she is very rude and unpolite).

We were welcomed like family -- with raki and fresh watermelon, in the traditional Cretan way -- and felt like family the entire time. The homestay is also animal-friendly and our host had the cutest two dogs and one magical kitty. The location itself is excellent -- staggering views across Souda Bay and relatively close to many other beaches, sites, and local restaurants (though you will need a car, of course). Honestly one of the best places we've stayed in.
