Good location and our room was nice and spacious with a wonderful view. It is a family-run business and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We got instructions on how to get to the hotel one day before our departure which is highly appreciated. The breakfast is home made and you can have lunch and dinner there. We got recommendations from Mrs Christina to visit some beautiful places like the Kouiasa Bridge and waterfalls, Kipina monastery, do the hiking trail from Kalarrytes to Syrrako and back, and visit Pramanta and Melissourgoi. All in all, it was a really nice experience.
This traditional guest house is located at an altitude of 3937 feet in the historical village of Kalarites.

This was a great experience! Napolean, his wife and their assistant are wonderful people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kalarites, a small rural mountain community - it is a very scenic place. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night but wished could have stayed longer.
Located in Melissourgoi, 3.8 miles from Anemotrypa Cave, Hotel Koferita has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Magical mountains. Perfect for long walks.
Water in the village is excellent, restaurants too. But do your shopping in Pramanda before driving to Kalarites.

This is a very authentic greek mountain-village.
This is a very authentic greek mountain-village. The location is breathtaking and has a very natural and rough beauty. You will find a great and unspoiled mountain-sceenery and you can do a lot of outdoor-activities. I was there in August 2021 and the weather was not too hot during the day (mountain-klima). 5*****!!!
The village is very authentic. You cannot came in to it by car so make sure to arrange small bag to take with you. Its only few minutes walking through the wonderful village.
There are few restaurants witch the people off the village are eating there as well- maybe because it was
weekend.
The women at the hotel was wonderful, she really helped us to find a place to sleep in our next destination after we could not found
one available
We had also a nice breakfast , the room was clean and hot good shower
After ten holidays in Greek mountains, this village is my favourite and Napoleon's place is the most original one.
No cars in the village, a real paradise. Perfect for hiking (80-120 min to Syrrako, depending on your speed). The air is so cool that the room was nice at the end of July without AC.
I wouldn't call this place a hotel or a guest house, it feels like like returning to your own home.
Kalarites Village is wonderful , one of the top Mountain villages in Greece both for Hiking in the area and for Historical visits.
Zaglis hotel is one of the 2-3 choices in the Village , it is a cosy Hotel in the upper part of the Village with Wonderful View , clean rooms , that are warm heated in the low temp of the area. The management are wondeful and kind people , very welcoming and helpful
An enormous breakfast, too much if anything. It was end of season and so the hotel and the village was very quiet which suited us. The setting was wonderful, looking down into the lush ravine which we climbed down to walk along the gushing river. Even took a dip in the icy water. Even though it was the start of autumn there were still many wild flowers around and lots of butterflies.
The room was clean but small. Had to close window when using bathroom. The breakfast was ok. We found the hotel after reading previous reviews about parking and walking into the village centre. We just took what we needed for the night and left our suitcases as the paths are cobbled and could image difficult if you had luggage. Views are stunning but we didn’t see them from our room
I am travelling the greek mountains over 30 years now. This was my first time in this place:
Excellent hosts and very friendly service. This is a very authentic guesthouse in a unique and natural place.
I prefere the kind of beauty of Kalarites to the more famous nearby village of Sirako. Go there; you will like the village, the hotel and the people!!
The hotel was located in the center of the town right next to the central square. It was also close to the starting points of the two hikes we wanted to complete. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent!
