The main positives for Alick hotel, or its location and the friendliness of the staff. The room was very small, including the shower, and on one day breakfast had been cleared away before we arrived.

Beautiful modern room with big balcony in location very close to the port. The beach. A choice of restaurants.
The beach. A choice of restaurants. Convenient for the ferries. Close to other towns like Apolina and Kastro.
And Sifnos is one of the best Greek islands for being unspoilt, clean, amazing views, lovely villages and very good restaurants. It seems to be a gourmet island, unlike others.

The island of Sifnos is idyllic, To Steno apartments are literally 30 metres from a beautiful Sandy beach, shops, beachfront restaurants and bars.
The port is only a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop where the bus takes you to other destinations on the island. There are plenty of scooter/car hire shops in the town with competitive prices. The restaurants sell traditional delicious Greek dishes, The Sifnos chickpea stew is very tasty and only about €5 and a local lamb stew is delicious also washed down with a carafe of red wine. The capital of Sifnos is Apollonia and I’d a 15 min bus trip away, it is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous blue domed churches, narrow winding alleyways with amazing shops, boutiques, jewellery shops and restaurants. We went one evening for dinner, it was a good choice as it was cooler and less crowded for walking around the town and all shops are open until 10pm. The restaurants are little more expensive but they are lovely. The last bus returns to Kamares at 22.00 so plenty of time to explore the area.
The apartment was in a perfect location and was super clean and maintained with excellent facilities for tea/coffee, a fridge, breakfast goodies and good wifi connection. Sofia, the host is absolutely lovely and organised an extra night stay for us as we wanted to stay longer!

Kamari is the port for the island, hence it is a convenient place to stay. It is a small port and is not busy or noisy. There are several cafes, restaurants, mini markets, and an overall delightful Greek ambience. The beach is excellent, sandy, gently sloping and spotlessly clean. There are sun loungers and parasols at one end and tamarisk trees and dunes at the other end. Cafes and toilets, Quiet.
If beach life is your main priority Kamares is an excellent choice. If walking is your main priority then perhaps Appolonia or thereabouts would be a more suitable base as it is the centre of the bus system which gives access to the whole island. There is an hourly bus service from Kamares. There are superb waymarked walks throughout the island and a free accurate (!) map and guide thereto.

We did some great walks whilst there..very well signposted trails all over the island.Kamares had a
good selection of restaurants and some very well priced.Only 1 small grocery shop but it was well stocked and the staff were helpful!
Good bus service to all parts of the island..especially liked Vathy.
Staff was great, they had lots of recommendations for exploring Sifnos. They were very kind, we could stay in the room, the day we left, till late evening without any additional charge. That means how to do hospitality to me.
We hired a car through the hotel and we could keep it for an extra 1/2 day for free. Price was very reasonable.
Location is in Kamares (the port), so great to take the ferry without any troubles.
Overall really good value for money, and the availability of the staff a big plus!
The location of the hotel is great, Delfini is the last hotel facing the port. Silence is guaranteed, the view is fantastic. All the staff are very helpful and polite. Sufficient à la carte breakfast served at your table. A 15-20 minute walk along the beach takes you to the center of Kamares. Do not forget that you have private access to the sea at the hotel (tiny bay without beach, for swimmers, access to the water via a ladder)
Recently renovated and spacious house which is fully equipped with a kitchen and laundry. The house is elevated and has a large terrace which overlooks Kamares with amazing sunset views and is a two minute walk to a small cove which is perfect for a morning or afternoon swim. The house is close to the port and only a 5 minute walk to the restaurant, shops and the main beach at Kamares. George is an informative and attentive host.
Lovely family run hotel with well-maintained rooms and super friendly, helpful staff. Its location looking out over the beach and a short walk from the village was perfect and very quiet at night. The rooms were cleaned, the towels and beds were changed every day. There was a good range of foods for breakfast and plenty of it. A lovely relaxing place to stay.
Dora and George, the owners were amazing! Sifnos House is beautiful, with warm and welcoming staff and a lovely place to sit and eat breakfast in the morning. It’s situated just a short jaunt from the ferry. Dora gave us excellent recommendations for what to see on the island and where to eat. We would come here again next year!
Stylish and spotlessly clean small hotel, ideally located a short walk from the village centre. The swimming pool and courtesy pickup from the port were an added bonus. Lovely hostess and buffet breakfast. We hired a car (very reasonable off season), toured most of the island and would still have stayed at this hotel. Local
Very lovely family run hotel with a beach access through bamboo stand. Owner was very nice! We needed no foot board and a coffee maker and he helped us out. The bathroom was roomy with a great shower and the beds were comfy- not the usual hard Greek mattress. Thanks!!
Good location, short walking distance to beach front and safe walking distance in the late evenings to the bars and restaurants. Great views of the sea front from the communal areas. Hotel was confortable and clean with kind, friendly staff.
Beautiful, renovated room. Great view, very clean ( they were cleaning every day our room 🙏), very good quality of shampoo and shower gel ( rarely to find even at good hotels ), comfortable bed. Lovely and kind stuff. Totally recommended.
The location is perfect, with a nice view, and only a short stroll to beaches, and restaurants. The ferries are also very close. Unlike most accommodations in Greece, they have very comfortable mattresses. Would definitely stay here again.
This property was lovely, the pool area and outdoor living space was especially enjoyable. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of dish ware etc. although we didn’t really cook.
Perfect location. Amazing staff and owner. Great recommendations for places Togo. Breakfast was great. Just a beautiful hotel. Close to the beach. Good bus system tiger around the island.
The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is located near two bus stops and is close to the beach and city center. Would definitely visit again!
