We couldn't have asked for more for an accommodation for a family with 3 kids.
The villa is newly built with high standard. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They live in a house just opposite the villa and they love to show all their many animals to kids: pool + friendly cats + horse + sheep + chickens = dream holiday for kids! The kitchen is well equipped, the pool is cleaned every morning.

Excellent location, rooftop garden with hot tub. They upgraded our room and we had a huge room with a balcony we could have sunbathed on if we had stayed longer. We were in the town for one night only, and found the hotel perfect for cocktails nearby in the evening and then seeing the turtles in the morning! Breakfast was good, staff were friendly.

Really nice hotel located right on the waterfront of the Argostoli Harbour and about a 5min walk to any major sight seeing point in the town. Perfect stay for us as a couple, we had a lovely room that was fine in size with a balcony that looked over the water. Hotel breakfast was 10/10 had everything you would want to try in Greece and they even had fresh honeycomb! Check in and out was perfectly fine. Shower had good pressure and the amenities in the bathroom were well thought out! Had pretty much everything you could need in case you forgot something!

Our room with balcony and spa was very comfortable and spacious. The location was ideal for a few days of relaxation, being close to restaurants and overlooking the square. The view, from our top floor, across the bay was outstanding.

A lot of really positive things have been said about Despina...
A lot of really positive things have been said about Despina and not without good reason. From the moment I booked the villa she could not have been more helpful, she’s a superstar! The villa itself is really spacious(I mean REALLY spacious). The air conditioning is more than adequate and along with a decent sized pool(cleaned and serviced regularly)is a good way to cool down when you’re overheated! If I was to be picky I would point out that the general finishes in and outside the villa are a bit shoddy and needs updating. All three bedrooms have en-suite(which is great) however, it would have been nice to have fixed shower heads instead of hand held. The villa despite its ‘rough edges’ was clean, fully functional and a delight to stay in. We were sad to say goodbye. They even wanted to bring another king size bed to our room although our bed was already big enough (2m x 180m) :). The breakfast is in comparing to other hotels good - You can choose between different kinds of eggs, omelettes, croissants, different breads, ham, cheese, milk, fruits, 4 kinds of müsli, pastry and deserts, tea, coffe, juices. Ainos and a short but hilly walk to the castle, and some of the best restaurants and views on Kefalonia. Also very close to a market. The facilities include a large, immaculate swimming pool surrounded by chaises, an outdoor bar for snacks and drinks, and tables under shade trees. Friendly cats and kittens add to the charm. The cell signal inside the house is very strong (5G, >200Mbps) so you don't have to depend on the slow WiFi (1-2Mbps). Relatively close to the main city, Lidl & AB supermarkets, and one of the excellent restaurants on the island (Gefiri). Hospitable owner. Good value.
