 This charming little home was a generous size and clipped with all necessities and more. The hosts were absolutely lovely, an old world family of generations, in an authentic Greek neighborhood. It was Very special. An easy 10 minute bus to old town, but in a very quiet, peaceful environment, outside of the noise and frenzy. For me best of both worlds, I even saw a shooting star on my walk home from bus early one evening. And the absolute best restaurant I’ve eaten in Greece is in the neighborhood, ridiculously affordable and massively delicious. Photo of backyard from outdoor dining table. The accommodation is really nice, clean and spacious. Thea and her mom were awesome. Our 18 months sun was hungry when we arrived and they gave him a royal treat with homemade meatballs, fresh tomatoes and milk.

The location was wonderful, just outside the busy center but close to the airport and some wonderful food options, such as the taverna just down the street.

You cannot beat the historical Cavalieri hotel for the views. Worth the money to get a room with a balcony at the front. Beautiful view of the water and old fort, looking out over the Esplanade. Close walk to the center of things and all the shops and restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet.
