Sofotel, hotel in Koroni

Situated in Koroni, 300 metres from Zagka Beach, Sofotel features rooms with Messinian Gulf views. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

This is a delightful small family hotel (don't be sidetracked by the name), well appointed and run by very nice people. On this occasion the shower wasn't working properly, but it was the very start of the season and I'm sure that will soon be addressed. I would think the road might be noisy in the height of the season, but we had a nice balcony with a sea view, with a short walk into town. Recommended

This was walking distance to a great place to eat as well as a market We rented a car and had parking. The room had everything we needed. It was clean and plenty big for the two of us. Bed was comfortable and the patio area was perfect! The view of the water and the castle from the balcony was gorgeous and it was very affordable. Would absolutely stay again!!!

we liked that koroni is still very traditional and all the locals made us very welcome. the corner bar was very popular with great view . the only problem is its a bit hilly to and from the beach so if your not great at walking its worth thinking about . All the tavernas served great food a must is the fish soup in the parthenon ,just make sure your very hungry . Overall we loved Koroni and will return some day .

The biggest trouble was finding appropriate beaches. The beach facilities are limited and there was little in the way of maps or information. Koroni castle was not as impressive as Methoni on the other side. But definitely worth a visit.

Town and walking to surrounding areas was beautiful but you need to be fairly mobile . Restaurant’s are very much the same ,however we found a couple either end of port which offered a wider range menu’s Watch out for cats in the restaurants as we were plagued them a couple of times , staff showed little interest in deterring them .

The center of Koroni is mainly 2-3 streets, next to the small port with restaurants, shops, a few bars, patisseries etc. All are very nice. I really enjoyed the patisseries and a wine store. The butcher shops have very good quality and variety of meat. The main attraction is the castle, which is very nice and the various monuments and churches that you can see/visit inside. Just outside Koroni the beaches are excellent and warm.

That was a very remarkable stay… We arrived 2 days after a huge fire with hills around burnt down to ashes, olive groves on them - turned into black shadows… a couple of houses also burnt down… Such a tragic waste… The owners were understandably distraught, but tried hard to make it comfortable for us and other guests. Awesome location otherwise with a 180’ view of the sea, beaches just steps down the road. The rooms are large and clean, good shower and beds, good kitchen (not really used it though))

The stay at Anastasia apartaments was amazing experience. Beautiful sea view, nice garden and the small beach only 5 min walking distance. The surrounding towns afe very cozy and beautiful, lots of nice eating places, etc. What was also at the highest level - clean rooms, all the necessary amendements. Suprer helpful and nice owners - the best customer service that could be. The best place to stay if visiting this part of Greece! You will not regret, truly!

Fantastic location near the sea. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment included a really well equipped kitchen and is very very clean. On the balcony there are table and chairs where we had every morning the breakfast. The place was really quiet. The parking is easy and right in the street in front of the apartment. We strongly recommend Apartments Xenios Zeus if you are planning to stay at Koroni with your family.

Loved the hotel and the staff were great. Great location. Walkable to the castle, the beach and the amazing town but quiet with a great sea view. Slept so well. The stairs are steep from the town but so lovely to walk up old steps through old streets and it's a short climb and you can take your time or drive if you prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace with the lovely sea view.

Walking distance to Koroni main square and restaurants. Parking included. views of the sea were breathtaking. Nicely landscaped grounds and rooms. Antonym was very attentive to our needs. Restaurant and swimming across from location. Quiet even though on Main Street. Fully equipped kitchen and grocery store a few minutes away.

Very spacious apartment with a lovely outdoor seating area/terrace. The view over the Messinian bay is wonderful. The charming town of Koroni (with bars and restaurants) is an easy walk. Zaga beach is super for swimming. Last, but not least, Adonis is a super host. Never intrusive, but always very helpful.
