Lovely self-catering home stocked with the basics, including a clothes washer/dryer. We were emailed instructions to get the key prior to arrival. We had one question and the owner answered immediately. It was a good location from which to explore. The location is near the bus stop, and it's easy to catch a local bus nearby to explore the island. The house was super-clean, and the sitting room and beds were very comfy. It was interesting to read the history of the home.

The owner met us a bit earlier to let us drop our stuff before the check in, which was really great. It was nice to be able to walk around and not carry our bags while doing so. The communication with the owners was very easy and prompt. When I asked where we could leave our stuff after check out, they suggested a place. There was cold water in the fridge when we checked in. The size of the place was nice and it was easy to walk to nearby areas. We walked to the town for dinner and back. The neighborhood was nice and the supermarket is right across the street. Easy to buy whatever you need.

Arriving by ferry this house was ideal as it was close to the port so no worries about luggage etc.walking into Corfu town is possible though after leaving the street the house is on there is an uphill road which may be a challenge to some. Quiet neighborhood although planes can be heard (Corfu airport busy in the summer) but gone within seconds and no more noticeable than a motorbike passing the house. Supermarket nearby and fresh fruit and veg shop so if you’re staying a few days self catering is no problem. We only stayed one night so didn’t try the bar next door (Epic Bar) but there were guests there when we went to bed but they were respectfully quiet, no loud music or anything .
