The pool is amazing, really deep and large; perfect for escaping from the heat. The breakfast is very good; there are many options and delicious homemade biscuits too. The location is perfect as it is overlooking Plakias but far enough from the crowds. The staff is overall good and attentive. They gave us very good tips on local restaurants and beaches.

Absolutely beautiful view of the sea and very conveniently located next to the beach and within walking distance to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. Kostas was so very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would love to return and stay at Atlantis again!
Great place with an AMAZING view of Plakias bay. Just 3 minutes drive from Plakias where there are a lot of cafe's restaurants, ATM's, supermarkets etc. Just 5' away from great beaches (Plakias, Souda, Damnoni etc). There are some really nice places to stay there, from affordable to fancy studios, a hotel with a pool and independent houses.
A big highlight for me is that in Mirthios you have 2 of the best taverns in the area, with local cuisine and great value for money - "Dionysos" with AMAZING Cretan cuisine and a family environment, and "Plateia" with great food and the best view ever!
The village per se is small and picturesque if you want to walk around the narrow backstreets on foot. It is on a hill so there will be some up and down though!
