Mylopotias is full of partying young people and there is a nightclub just down the road from where we stayed so we could hear the thumping music. We didn't mind, but it did mean that from 10pm we wouldn't sit on the balcony. Great beach, stylish restaurants esp. the sushi, not overcrowded. We kept different times vs the young crowd which meant that the beach was nearly empty in the morning and started to fill up at 2pm is. They were fun when they arrived.

The beach, mini market and restaurants were a long way from the apartments we were staying at. It was very touristy and geared up for the youth who want to party. Pay sun beds and umbrellas on the beach were expensive. Good selection of water sports in the ocean.

With the rooms being only 2 mins walk down onto beachfront there are bars shops minimarkets,clothes shops,quad hire,etc.10 minute walk along with fine food dining,all fresh seafoods.everything i could possibly ask for with this location.

Far Out Club is loud for a few hours at night but dies down before 10 ish in July. It is lovely in the daytime and one place rents cabanas with 1 side plexiglas very reasonably priced. Four of us shared one. More days at the beach would have been better - wish I had skipped Athens.

The room was very nice and the location excellent in front of the beach, just to cross the road. The host, Mrs Irini was very nice and helpful. Prepared our breakfast every day and also small meals whenever needed. We really loved the place and will visit it soon again. Highly recommended.

This is the best place we've stayed in the whole of Europe. The hotel is wonderful and full of charm. The pool is excellent, with lots of sun beds, the gardens are gorgeous and the breakfast is incredible every single day! We got picked up from the port by the owners of the hotel and driven back. Its clean, spacious and walking distance to Mylopotas beach, which is one of the best beaches on the whole island. You can also safely walk to many restaurants bars, and even Chora. We will be coming back!

Perfect location in the end of the bay. When the beat from the all day long bar opposite Mylopotas beach stops you can hear the sea! You have a nice view of the bay, you can enjoy sunset from your balcony. The breakfast has local products like the honey of Ios and each day there is a variety of home made stuff. The attention from the hosts makes you feel welcome and the smile of the owner lights your day. The hotel is conveniently set on top of a very nice fish restaurant that you should try.

Modern and clean hotel right near Mylopotas beach, the most famous of the island. The hotel offers sunbeds/cabanas for its guests (not crowded so no need to rush early in the morning), with beach towels changed every day. The room was modern, clean and spacious. The staff were absolutely amazing! They helped us rent a boat, gave us precious advice on the island (restaurants, beaches etc) and took us back and forth from the port free of charge! Everything was great

Hotel Aegeon was the perfect place to stay in Ios! located just across the street from Mylopotas beach and beside the bus stop to get into the town of Chora, making it an ideal location. The room and facilities were very clean, nice big pool as well. The owners, father and son, were very welcoming and always around to answer any questions or give recommendations. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, would definitely come back in the future!

The room was clean and modern and was cleaned every day along with fresh towels. The staff were friendly and attentive starting with our welcome and early check in all the way to being offered service around the pool. Breakfast was included and was a buffet style with lots of choice. Great choice between the pool and the beach as we had full use of sunbeds at either with the beach being only a 100m walk from the hotel.

Great location a short walk to the beach via the hotel pool. Excellent beach or pool towel system. Open buffet breakfast with everything you could want (probably!) Easy walking distance to the small town or, at a push, the port. Efficient hotel transfer availability or help to find a taxi (only 4 on the island). Happy, smiling, helpful staff.

First, it was in the perfect location. Perfectly in between Mylopotas Beach and the Chora. Easy walk to both. Second, the room was very charming and very clean. The location was excellent. We could walk to the beach from the place (uphill on the way back but doable). The bus ran every 20 minutes to the centre and the bus stop was right outside the hotel. The pool was beautiful and had a great view. The staff was extremely accomodating and the breakfast was great.

The properties location was perfect! A 2 minute walk down to the beautiful Mylopotas beach and the bus stop which takes you into town (Chora) all day until midnight. The pool at the property was insanely nice and not busy and the room was good.
