The host was responsive, and the check-in wasn't a problem even in the late evening. The apartment is close to the airport, it took us around 20minutes by walking

The hotel is right off the water at the port. We had a room overlooking the harbor. We enjoyed watching the ships come and go. There was a nice balcony where you could stand and enjoy the water. (See photos) The room was nice and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was spacious with a great tub! The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a huge variety of offerings. It was one of the best I've ever experienced and the restaurant staff was friendly and attentive. It is a little bit of a walk to the historic part of town, but we didn't mind.

Kronos Hotel is conveniently located 215 yards from the center of Heraklion and just under half a mile from the port. It has accommodations with a private balcony and a bar.

Super helpful and friendly staff that went out of their way to help us out with the bus schedule going inland. Located in a quiet part of the old town, very close to bars and restaurants without being bothered by the noise.
