Location was good for us, we had just toured Olympia and were heading to Nafplio the next day via Mycenea. The owner/manager was very nice and we figured out our communication mostly in sign language as our Greek even after two weeks still only amounted to about five words. Our balcony overlooked the gardens next door and the mountains and made for a nice place for an evening cocktail and picnic. Room was very clean and A/C worked well. There was a beach bar serving coffee and beer you could walk to (about 1/2 a mile). The bar downstairs is full service (no food though) and definitely has a local flavor. There is a Taverna walkable just a little way down the road to the south but we did not try it out. The town a couple kilometers north seemed very pleasant as we passed through and picked up our picnic supplies.

We absolutely loved our stay at Theodore Apartments in Zacharo! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartments were clean, cute, and incredibly spacious, providing us with all the comfort and convenience we needed.
One of our favorite features was the wonderful balcony that offered a nice view of the surrounding area. The sight of the lot filled with beautiful trees added to the serene ambiance, making our stay even more delightful.
What truly set Theodore Apartments apart was the exceptional care and kindness of Mr. Theodore, the owner. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience. We were pleasantly surprised when he informed us that we were welcome to pick and enjoy any fruits from the trees on the property. It was such a unique and delightful experience to indulge in fresh, organic fruits right from the source.
Moreover, his daughter demonstrated her attentiveness and professionalism. She promptly notified us about some items we had accidentally left behind in the apartment, and she took great care to keep it safe until we were able to retrieve it.
We highly recommend Theodore Apartments for anyone looking for a longer stay in the beautiful town of Zacharo. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, exploring the natural surroundings, or simply looking to unwind, this is the perfect place to call home. The place is stunning, its close to the village but very peaceful, the two ladies who looked after us couldnt have been nicer, Vicky even bought us out freshly cooked pastries for breakfast, the garden seating area is lovely at night,inside the place was first class and we would love to go back one day
