Varos Village Boutique Hotel was quite the oasis gem. Every single member of the staff at the front desk was personable and willing to help with any question, reservation, transportation, etc. They were also interested following up how we enjoyed the restaurant or experience that they helped with. It felt like we were returning "home" each time to someone who genuinely was happy to see and greet us. Our spacious room was a dream. The interior decoration and specifics, like lighting and decoration, were carefully considered and lovingly detailed. It was very quiet - we never heard outside noise. Each room had its own thermostat that worked perfectly. The breakfast spread was delicious with many homemade pastries, hot entrees and fresh fruit. Everything is kept very clean and to a high standard. This hotel is not located within the busy port, so we cared to rent for a car when we wanted to go further out. There are fabulous beaches which we didn’t manage to explore all of them. What a pity!.We have to come back. We were happy with our choice and would recommend Varos Village Boutique Hotel highly to anyone who wants a more authentic and elevated experience.

The hotel is run by a family, which were professional, but yet managed to make the experience a very homey one, as if you were coming home to stay with relatives. The property is well maintained, very clean, traditional yet modern, and the views are astonishing. Breakfast is very fresh and locally sourced. There is a separate WIFI router in every room and hotel area, so your connection does not stop if you need to get some work done.
You can feel the care and love that was put into this hotel, and if you have any questions or are looking for suggestions, every family member is eager to share their wisdom of the island!

The room was so small, we could barely move to go to the bathroom. There was no balcony.
The room was at the second floor. Everytime someone would close the front door downstairs or climb the staircase, the room was shaking, as an earthquake was taking place!
But the worse of all was that the third night, because of the rain, the roof was leaking and our things that were near the wall were all wet. When I called the person responsible and explained the situation, he said that he was sorry, but there was nothing he could do and that he would fix the damage in October!!! I tried contacting Booking, they responded the next day, sending impersonal apologies and asking for evaluation. We left the room the next day, although we have booked for four more nights, which were of course charged, like we were there. Noone from the room was ever bothered to call.
