This beautiful boutique hotel is steps away from the Karlovasi ferry terminal. Our room was spotless, clean, and comfortable, and we appreciated the complementary water in the room after a long nighttime ferry voyage. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and arranged a taxi to the downtown KTEL intercity bus stop. (About a 25 minute walk, or 7€ taxi is better with bags).
Breakfast was delicious as well. The Samaina Port Hotel is an excellent value and highly recommended.

The whole family was super welcoming and the accommodation had everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. I arrived during the offseason, so essentially had the property to myself (well, shared with all the cats of course <3), which was very quiet (I don't know what it would be like when full!). Anything I needed was in walking distance, either in Ormos or Kampos, and the family shared info on 'market' day (fresh local produce passing by on a truck) where I bought the best melons I've ever had in my life! Great experience and I would definitely stay again :) Thanks for everything!

The property was quiet and close to the ocean. Sun beads were recently updated. Lots of plants and newer outdoor tables and chairs for each room were nice to sit at. The host and hostess were extremely friendly and all requests were quickly responded to and addressed.
