If you like quiet vacation, in a small place, this is a place for you, It's not crowded, you have few tavernas and beach bars. If you didnt came with the car you can find car or bike rentals. The location is perfect to be your hub on the island if you don't want to stay at the same spot every day.

Nice, quiet location, really close by Limenas. All the west coast of the island easily accesible from there. Highly recommended for families with kids. Great, wide, sandy beach on both sides of the location.

Skala Prinou is a nice small town located at the northern part of Thassos. It's great if you want to relax, enjoy sandy beaches and awesome view to the sea and the island hills. It has a direct ferry connection to the city of Kavala on the mainland. Skala Prinou has enough taverns and small shops. It even has a small shipyard. Right next to it, there is a small water channel, where hundreds of turtles live. It it truly an amazing view. In the nearby town of Prinou, which is located 2 km away, you can find bakery, meat and fish stores and a large market on Monday. It is worth going there especially early in the mornings - no later than 9 am. After that it gets to hot and crowded. If you need nightlife and discos - I suggest you pick some other place. If you want to enjoy nature, beaches and calm life - it is the right place for you.NikolayBulgaria - 10Scored 10

Great ferry port, small restaurants, cool beaches - especially to the left side from the harbour, good and delicious food - loved the gyros restaurant near the mini market. I liked people. I really enjoyed swimming in the sea. The prices in the fish restaurant were too high in comparison to the Thassos Town. I liked the promenade, long walks along the seafront, milk products in the market and fresh breeze at evenings as well as wathcing the sea.
