The host was EXCELLENT! Our flight was quite delayed and we arrived at the apartment quite late, however Mrs Katerina was there to welcome us and give us the keys, along with a map and some quick recommendations. Overall we were quite happy with the apartment and the view was jaw dropping. Also it is just a stone's throw from a really nice beach with sunbeds and some shade under the pines.

Like all Skiathos, the hotels are not very close to the water. As most of the hotels are situated up on the mountain the view is absolutely fantastic. The most beautiful view is from Skiathos Club Resort (hotel). Good food is to be found at Azzuro Terrace and of course, at Paradise Hotel (Anastasia Restaurant) A car is reccomended there... If you have a car or moto, you can stay in Vassilias.
If you have a car or moto, you can stay in Vassilias. If not, the hill is too high to climb it everyday. Or you can choose an accommodation near the sea, which is nice. From the top of the hill you have a nice sea view. Vassilias is a quiet place to enjoy, if the time is allowing. The hotel has an ideal location if you are looking for relax. Quiet atmosphere and surroundings. We had a room with very nice views to the sea and beds were very comfortable! Good wifi. But let me express again our gratitude to the staff.

The Rada Restaurant next to the pool does amazing food, and again full of Greek hospitality and generosity. Can't fault it. Beautiful beach with water taxi going straight into town for nights out and shopping. Just book it ! You wont regret .

Vassilias beach, which is very nice and not very busy, is within a walking distance from the property. The staff was really friendly and they were so kind that they offered us a ride to the port, as we didn't have a car. I would highly recommend it.
