The location was excellent and the hotel had lounges and umbrellas you could use at the water. They also provided beach towels. The breakfast was excellent and best of all were the dinners we ate at their restaurant.

The tower is clean and comfortable. We had dinner on the balcony, cooked by our hosts mother. It was delicious.
The family was very friendly and nice.
There is a hidden balcony up the top that was also a lovely place to sit and have a cuppa.

This was an incredibly beautiful guest house located on the bay in Gerolimenas. The scenery from the room balcony and the stone patio with beach furniture was spectacular. We had hoped to use the paddleboards and kayak but it was too windy for the paddleboards and we didn't see the kayak mentioned in the listing.
The host was friendly and helpful. She kindly offered us a room upgrade as she has a free balcony room available. She and her little dogs were delightful. The room was well-styled and impeccably clean.
The breakfast was huge with homemade cakes and jams. There was an egg dish each day plus yogurt, cereal, grapes, and hardboiled eggs available on the sideboard. A superior breakfast!

Excellent location at the edge of Kokkala village within 20m of a pebbly beach, 10m above the road (which was very quiet at this time - end October (which felt like end of summer!). The view from the veranda is fantastic (dreamy sunrise!) to the sea, the beach and the mountain. The flat itself is a renovated old stone-built structure with lots old-time features. The bathroom is well appointed but the shower is very narrow. The kitchen has most useful appliances and crockery, cutlery etc, except a Microwave oven, which would have been very useful.
The beach is pristine and the water crystal clear and nicely warm, even at this time! The rest of the village is simple and the one open taverna/restaurant was welcome but the food was mediocre, except of the souvlaki!
Offering garden views, casa cabinari MANH in Gerolimenas features accommodations and a garden. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a patio.
We spent only three days in the Vathia area. We would have enjoyed staying much longer. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. Many things to explore and visit, great walks and hikes, wonderful secluded beaches.

Vathia is a small village at the heart of the Mani peninsula and is fascinating to wander around; it makes an excellent base from which to explore this highly atmospheric region. It is near good beaches and we ate well in the area too. There are relatively few foreign tourists down here so we felt we were a bit off the beaten track.
