The staff is phenomenal and I use the hotel because of the parking for the Ferry. It is the only one who offers it!

La Ceiba is not really somewhere to stay for too long as it's really just a port town that you stay before going to the islands. It's got plenty of shops and restaurants to eat and see but generally, it's just another city that will fall into the back of your mind once you've left.

The food was great. Kayaking was fantastic.
The food was great. Kayaking was fantastic. Las Hamacus hotel and Apart Pico Bonito hotel were both great places to stay. I would not recommend staying at the Omega Eco Jungle Tours Resort. The hospitality was terrible and the pool did not work.
The reservation was an easy 10/10! The setting was bewitching and impressed my friend and I. The home also matched its provided profile and consisted of required amenities that made the trip so much more easy. The beach was pleasing and not far from the location, the walk was scenic and pleasurable. The customer support was amazing for when I had an issue, the host would reply the day within my concern occured. This home is not one to miss when visiting Honduras!!
Walter was amazing and helped us whenever we needed it. He picked us up from La Ceiba for 400L, booked rafting, answered our questions and was very kind and friendly.
Pepe was a great host and welcoming us into his hotel.
The location is beautiful, stunning mountain views, lovely pool, kitchen to use, beer to buy, comfy beds, good wifi, warm showers, amazing rafting tour. Stay for as long as possible!
Breakfast that is included in the room is a good typical Honduran breakfast. Other options are available for purchase. Great bartender and wait staff. Very friendly and professional cleaning staff. Location is right downtown La Ceiba which worked well for us - easy to get transportation and good access to food options. Good security. Nice laundry service. Very clean rooms.

Beautiful hotel, with the perfect balance of comfort but still feeling in the wilderness. The hammocks and sofas are great after a day of hiking, and the food was excellent. The sound of the birds and wildlife was wonderful
The owners john and Soledad are friendly and super helpful without being overbearing. Really enjoyed my stay.
Very quiet place right at the beach.
Clean rooms with warm showers and a beautiful pool area.
Very friendly and cool host. I needed to see a doctor and he gave me recommendations, drove me to the next bus and helped wherever he can.
Breakfast is also great. Best banana pancakes I ever had.
Everything! Hotel Rio is a dreamy destination and the owner and staff are very friendly. The view from the main balcony is amazing and a short walk to the river. We only stayed one night so didn't do any kayaking or white water but our next trip will be extended for sure!!
Terrific location, you can take hikes on the hotel grounds for up to 2 hours with their dogs as guides.
