First the location is beautiful, then you arrive by boat, the hotel is really nice and hanging on a cliff. The staff is simply wonderful, we got to know them through the years. And the food is so fresh, well prepared, served with attention, this is a place we keep coming back because we haven't found a better heaven yet.

Absolute relaxation at the spa, pool above the hotel with the same beautiful sea view. Finnish sauna and infra sauna available. Little outdoor gym above the spa.
Excellent dishes at the restaurant Dalmar restaurant.
There's a room dedicated to the hotel's and the island's history, very faschinating - just thinking about the logistics building such complex on an island has been challenging!
Hotel is at the "end" of the Lopud bay so you are secluded. Own pier if you need a private ride.

The staff was very helpful. The room was big and had an equipped kitchen and a table with 4 chairs. The parking was free in front of the property. The restaurant in the building, where we Also had breakfast, had a very nice atmosphere, the food was OK there. The shower was OK, strong water jet and warm. The breakfast was good. Since we don't eat meat, they served a portion of scrambled eggs, cheese, 1 croissant, 1 small white bread, a few slices of orange, apple and I little of pineapple, and some extra white bread. Butter, jam and honey were in individual portions. We ordered herbal tea instead of coffee, and they served it with lemon, that was nice. They offered me lactose free milk since I am lactose intollerant. I didn't use because I took tea. The veranda of the room was big and had a view of the sea.
The Villa Ana is located in the center of Štikovica, just 49 feet away from the Zaton Bay beach, and offers you air conditioned rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi throughout.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the beach and it was a great location. Relaxing patio.
Calm, Adriatic beauty. But also go up the road to Ston and Mali Ston, and definitely check out Trsteno Gardens and the little beach below. Slano is cool too. Dubrovnik is nice, but crowded. Rent a car. We also went to Bosnia (not so nice) and Kotor Montenegro (less nice than Croatia but interesting). Rent a boat with a skipper and go island hopping. Or stay and relax by the amazing pool at the villa. Cook in, cook out or visit the restaurants. You cannot make a bad decision here.
