It is both a residential small city and a beach, water and tourism oriented city. It is both smaller than the more well known cities of Balatonfüred and Keszthely. The result is that there is a lot of families holidaying and now rowdy tourism drunken bars and rowdy behaviour. Very much to be recommended.JürgSwitzerland - 10Scored 10

It's near of some sightseeing, easy to rent bikes and do nice cycling tours. You can enjoy the Talpoca cave, Szigliget castle, sunbathing next to the Balaton and wine tasting. Don't forget eat fish, one speciality dish, maybe not the cheapest food, but it is one activity need here.YetzabelHungary

The front desk tried to help us with everything we needed. They did warn us the wifi was stronger in the reception area than the room. Good, clean room, comfy bed and linens, and large room for the price. They also gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation and a 15% off coupon for the restaurant nearby. Parking was easy and convenient, good location and quiet, with nice sunsets from the balcony.
