A lovely 4-night stay at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin. Excellent staff! Accommodations were roomy, clean and well-appointed. Comfy beds and liked that the bathroom had room for toiletries.
Conveniently located across the street from the River Liffey and an easy walk to Heuston train and tram station. Also steps away from the hop-on-hop-off tour bus stop.
Don't miss breakfast--well worth the extra cost. The delightful Juliana will greet and seat you and, if the luck of the Irish is with you, she'll share a story and invite all to join in a sing along.
Of note: The Ashling is undergoing a major redo, yet how amazing that we did not encounter any inconveniences with workers, equipment, noise, dust, or debris throughout our stay. Obviously the guests' experience during the construction is a high priority for both management and contractors, Well done and much appreciated!

The facilities were top notch. The staff were friendly, knowledgable, accommodating, and amenities exceeded our expectations. My husband is very tall, and it's often difficult to find beds that are comfortable for him. We had a king bed for us and a great single bed for our son in a spacious room. There was sparkling water available in the room, the bathrooms were spacious and clean, and we had a quick response from the front desk for any additional requests. They even brought drinks to the room later on! All of the best historic sites were walkable, as well as many of the eateries we had hoped to try. It's wonderful to have protected parking included at this location. This was not the case at other hotels we've tried this trip. We wish we had stayed here for more than one night. It's a wonderful stay and great value for incredible quality.
