Reddys, For Horse racing, Even doh the most of the staff could do with a person training course for greeting customers, they could take a few tips from the staff in the Talbot Hotel, and the Pub opposite them not to sure of the name of the bub/Dinn Ri for Food it was excellent, Similar to the Bub Opposite Reddys, The tall young Guy in Reddy's was great and service was super couldn't say the same about the rest of the staff, couldn't say the same about the dark hair girl!

Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill.
Ann could not be more helpful when our friend fell ill. Got paramedics in and she was taken to hospital. Allowed us to stay on to enable us to visit her. Did washing of nighties for our friend. In my opinion she went over and above to help us. Ann is a lovely lady.
I couldn't recommend this hotel more. I travel a lot for work and the staff were the best I've ever come across in any hotel.
We were welcomed and made to feel at home right from the start.
The food is great we had dinner and breakfast and it was great food. Again the staff were so polite and cheerful and made it a lovely experience.
The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable and we couldn't hear any noise even though the hotel is so central.
Will be recommending to everyone
The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the location was in the midst of beautiful countryside, while being only a short drive to Carlow with plenty of places to eat. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom, whilst not an ensuite, was conveniently across the hallway, was for our sole use, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good - cereal, cooked eggs and tea or coffee.
Apartment was very clean, decorated to a very high standard and well equipped, location was very quiet and close to hotel where you could have a meal and a drink if desired.
The host's Pat and Yin were very friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable, little extras like cereal, milk, bread and eggs, tea and coffee all provided and not to forget the beautiful home made scones.
Would highly recommend.
From home to home. Upon arrival there was a welcome basket waiting for us with sweets, fruits, cereals and wine. Spotless apartment. Very clear, beds very comfortable and spotless bathroom. Not in town but location very convenient. Short drive to Kilkenny and Carlow. We had a great time. We do not meet the owners bud Mairead always text and ask is everything ok. For sure we will be back.
It was Mt like its advertised it doesn't have balcony the rooms are small hard find had to ring owner several times before to find it its not part of hotel I should of stayed in hotel I wouldn't recommend it wifi is OK but cooking facilities poor 2 rings and microwave basic 40 min walk from carlow Town
From the moment we arrived, Pauline made us feel very welcome in her home. The house is located in the beautiful Carlow countryside and it's a real home. We spent our Friday night in front of a roaring fire in the lounge and rose to a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.
We travelled a long distance to attend a football match. The staff were very welcoming upon our arrival, very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, great selection to choose from. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. 😊
The location was ideal for our needs. It was very convenient for attending events in the Seven Oaks Hotel, less than a 10 minute walk. We also really enjoyed the nearby Barrow Walk, and strolling around Carlow town. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious.
Comfy beds. Great kitchen area. Loved the wet room. Great location (though a fair bit out of Carlow) for us visiting family in Athy and Stradbally. Small shop opposite and fantastic garden centre not too far away which had beautiful Christmas decorations.
Parking was really easy in public lot just behind the hotel. Location was central and appealing. Room was lovely; modern and clean and quiet (no concert that night). Breakfast in the cafe across the court was bountiful.
