Walking Knockmealdowns and needed a bed close to Lismore . We were overwhelmed with the superb location with the sounds of the river running by front of building . When we reached our double room we had the delight of looking at the top of the Commeraghs . We sat out on the terrace on a beautiful evening listening to the birds and the ripple of the river with a nice cold beer . Dinner was booked for 7 in Hanora’s relaxing dining room where we were blown away by the fantastic choice of wines and food on the menu . We had local crab in filo which was succulent. To follow I had curated fresh Cod with an array of colourful vegetables including my favourite red cabbage ,yum My buddy had the Sea Bass and was so good she wouldn’t share ! We finished of with a delightful cheese board and a bottle of delicious New Zealand Sav on the terrace before night fall . After we fell into the beds and not a sound was heard . Breakie at 8am as we were leaving early and wow what a display of food fruits to die for all fresh , smoked salmon ,fresh baked scones homemade jams ,full irish to name a few .
Mary and her staff were so inviting and couldn’t do enough for us ,we will definitely be back and can’t wait 🙏🏻❤️Thanks you Mary n staff

It's a lively friendly place, well placed for travel to many areas in the South and Southwest of Ireland. There is the campus of Technological University of the Shannon in the town, a wonderful facility.

The stay at the hotel was excellent.
The stay at the hotel was excellent. We were able to travel around the whole area and found the town itself to be very interesting and the people were really friendly. We had dinner and lunches at various places and they were all great value for money. The effects of covid were very noticeable in that a lot of businesses have been forced to close down.

Clonmel is a historic town in Co.
Clonmel is a historic town in Co. Tipperary with portions of the old town walls particularly around the Protestant church, The "Main Guard" was the centre of the town - free opening - and there is another perfectly sized museum also. Lots of wide streets, old shop facades, lovely friendly people, and a fine river.

We lived in Clonmel for more than 16 years and love it. The people are friendly and there are a lot of clubs, a good movie theater, lots of shops. Lots of flowers planted and the views of the mountains is splendid. It's a lovely town that is busy, but not too busy. Lots of good food. It's a wonderful little Irish town.

Nice hotel. We would like to stay there again...
Staying with Helen and Michael at their lovely family home in the middle of Tipperary countryside is like a relaxing stay with old friends in an historic old home, like a lovely antique. Cozy fires always welcoming your arrivalack to the house, the most comfy beds and a scrumptious breakfast each morning, with tea in the afternoon in an elegant sitting room. Could not be a nicer place to spend several days exploring the gorgeous countryside just nearby the property. Super-historic village just minutes away, lovely walks abound.
Very well run hotel. I arrived on an early flight and arrived a bit before the check-in time. The staff were really helpful in accommodating my family and I to check-in right away. The place feels new and clean. It is well located near a Super value and a few shops and restaurants and not far from the town center. It is also well located near the Cork - Dublin road so it is an easy stop off point for those traveling that route. We used the pool area and it was nice and spacious and well maintained. I would easy return.

Overall I was delighted to have picked this hotel.
Out host was friendly and knowledgeable, and was very gracious in facilitating the cancellation of a second booking we had. The room was spacious and comfortable, although definitely not glamorous, and breakfast was very good. Location was great for walking about town.
Great B&B in the center of Clonmel. Great and quickly served breakfast - I would recommend and will be happy to come back. As a single traveller I found it good value for money (many places do not cater for single occupancy hence you pay for two)
Room was small and up several stairs but appeared very clean and quiet despite being in busy downtown area. Shower was great and restaurant food was lovely. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Also a beautiful bar area.
Central location in Clonmel with parking . Bright airy clean stairs and corridors . Immaculate spacious modern rooms with huge double beds . Bathroom didn’t disappoint either . A great choice having never been to Clonmel before
Very helpful and polite staff. Perfect location in the city center. Hotel had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Just don't forget earplugs if you're a light sleeper - you can hear some activity from other guests.
We liked everything - a lovely Irish country house hotel set in beautiful gardens by the river. We felt very lucky to have discovered this hotel and would have liked to stay longer than the 8 days we had.
Befani's is a great little guesthouse with an absolutely outstanding restaurant.
Clonmel is an interesting, historic town, free of the busloads of tour groups that throng so.many places in Ireland.
Peaceful and beautiful location. Treats left and coffee and tea. Great location for hiking. A huge selection of mountains nearby. Lovely selection of restaurants and near Cahir and Cashel and Clonmel.
Great little find within lovely garden and only a short walk to the town centre. Friendly staff but with some character, not what you normally find in hotels at this price point.
Location was perfect very central, staff amazing
Room was big and comfortable and very clean.
The breakfast was awesome. great choice for anyone wanting to stay in clonmel...
Breakfast was excellent. Waittresses were very friendly and accomodating. Location is perfectually situated in the middle of town. Easy access to anything you might need.
Great location in centre of Clonmel, public carpark nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Lovely church across the street from hotel.
