Had a really lovely time staying in this little gem. It was a home from home. Only a short drive from several counties including Galway, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary. Service on the phone isn't great and no wifi as stated but that didn't bother us. Just get out and enjoy yourself, plenty of places to go and things to do. We went everywhere. Lena is such a lovely host and very informative of things to do around the area and also some local history. Really lovely lady. Thanks for everything Lena especially the lovely eggs you gave us. The customer service was excellent. Everybody was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. It's an excellent place to stay.

I cannot compliment the staff enough during my stay. The housekeeping staff are phenomenal and the charming gentleman at breakfast was so welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, I ordered the veggie with coffee... Faultless. The bed was extremely comfy and the short time I was there (I was at a wedding) I had no enjoyable sleep.

Keeraun Hill is a pristine, convenient and comfortable house. Every aspect of the property pleased. The owners absolutely went out of their way to make us comfortable and welcome. Geraldine even gave us rides into town although it’s only a short walk. Breakfast was delicious (full Irish for me) with excellent coffee. Special mention for Rosie, a most delightful, unobtrusive and loving miniature Jack Russell.

Oak Lodge Portumna in Portumna provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. There's a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.
