I can’t say enough say enough good things about this place . It’s like visiting a family’s home ! Tommy is the most welcoming host and opened his home to us with open arms . After a long travel day all that we wanted was a bed to sleep … this went above and beyond anything we could have imagined …

Hawthorne View was the perfect stop for us on a busy travel/family visiting day between Thurles and Holy Cross and the Rock of Cashel. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Noreen prepared a beautiful breakfast which was much appreciated. Our mistake for her booking info clearly states it, but we missed that payment is in cash only. Luckily a shop w/an ATM not far away.

Jean was fantastic, my friend left her laptop behind. Jean was kind enough to send it on to our next hotel and wouldn't take any money.
Tea and cake by the fireplace, and early breakfast as we had to leave early.
I can't say enough how wonderful our stay was.

The location is ideal for travelling to other parts of Tipperary and Kilkenny. The Leisure centre and pool are lovely and a welcome respite from the heat. We travelled to Thurles and to Clonmel when we were there.

The Horse and Jockey is fabulous. This is my second time staying there and it never disappoints. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The leisure centre and spa are great and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We had massages from Zoey in the spa and enjoyed them so much! The food and bar are lovely and we got to enjoy a drink outside on their patio as the weather was lovely when we stayed. Would definitely recommend for families or couples!
Hotel is a bit deciving after coming off the N7 but as you drive around the hotel is huge, staff are so lovely and food in the bar was really nice. Beds were very comfortable and spotless clean. Breakfast was table service and requests were no problem for the staff member on duty. The gift shop with homemade treats were a delight.
I stay in the horse and jockey regularly , rooms are always at a level of cleanliness which is to be commended. Restaurant serves a wide range of excellent food and breakfast is always really good with something for everyone. Any staff I encounter are always extremely pleasant and very helpful Would recommend
Hello.
Overall the stay was fine. We stopped off en-route to Killarney and we have stayed there before and it was grand. The only thing that the hotel really needs is decorated. The outside is now shabby looking and the inside is very dark and gloomy in places.
I thought it was really a lovely place. Unfortunately I arrived in the early am of the next day & planned to sleep in. they are refurbishing the room across the hallway so the jackhammering woke me earlier. Other than that the room was very clean & spacious.
Location; facilities are excellent- pool is a good size and changing areas etc very clean. Restaurant/bar food is amazing; very tasty and great choice. Bed very comfortable, rooms clean and bathrooms clean. Would highly recommend , will be staying again
It is spacious, clean and very comfortable ( soft cotton sheets, bed clothes and pillows). The staff were expert, friendly and authentic. The food is a no fancy frills variety, fresh, honest and tasty - this is rare.
This was a really nice hotel. The room was spacious. The amenities were awesome. This hotel had by far the best breakfast buffet of our trip to Ireland/Northern Ireland which was even included in the price.
