This was honestly one of the most peaceful, cleanest places I have ever stayed at. It was so fresh and inviting. Hillary is an exceptional host who was very welcoming and friendly. The Brown Hen is adorable. Beautiful setting and so quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. My favorite was the surprise “kitchen in the closet”. Thank you for all the yummy treats, especially the delicious homemade bread. We loved it here!

Loved being out on the countryside. The owner has 1 dog (new fundland) and 2 kitties. All were super friendly but not overbearing at all. The owners were very accommodating and sweet! I would highly recommend this place.

The location was perfect for exploring Kinsale. Everything was close enough to walk to. The staff were great - friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was a great way to start the day and the number of choices incredible. You could have just juice or tea or coffee and yoghurt or some fabulous cooked options. Also like that there was a pool and workout facility and parking at the hotel
Great view. Handy parking and seating outside. Very helpful hosts. Excellent little kitchen with complimentary bread, croissants, jam, butter, cereals, tea, coffee, milk. Good location for Cork airport. The shower and some furniture could be improved a little, but would recommend this place, especially if you want beautiful countryside and the ability to do some self catering.
