Comfortable bed, use of microwave and self catering, would have liked a toaster. Liked large shower cubical. Didn't like that we had no hot water throughout the day or evening in the sinks. Liked the view of the lake. Didn't like lifting microwave out of a bottom cupboard onto worksurface would be better mounted on a shelf. Didn't like broken cutlery. Didn't like Netflix constantly shutting down due to the tuner being overloaded couldn't watch a film through without it shutting down every 5 minutes.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Loughrea is nice small town with beautiful lake which is perfect for swimmers even in the winter time. Lots of scenic spots for photo shoot. Walking distance to the main points and good coffee in Java's 17.

Great tranquil place, lovely surroundings and nature. The town itself has many supermarkets, fuel stations and restaurants available. The lake has free public parking off the main road, great walking and scenic views.

The lake in Loughrea is a must to see as it is full of swans and ducks. There is a safe play area at the lake for the children to play whilst the adults can enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are plenty of places in the town to have a coffee and chill out.LorettoIreland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Emma at the front desk arranged a taxi to and from Lignum where we were going for dinner. The two barmen were excellent, friendly and chatty with everyone. The lovely lady who served breakfast couldn't do enough for us..and the breakfast was freshly cooked. We're so tired of having breakfasts in hotels, even five star hotels, where the breakfast was cooked long before we ordered it and these horrible deep fried sausages.

Parking was convenient and on-site restaurant with wonderful, tasty options was appreciated. Staff in hotel and restaurant were courteous and helpful. Elevator was nice, especially for elderly guests!

The location is fantastic and Dolores is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with great tips for sight seeing in the local area. I cannot recommend this property enough and would definitely stay there again.
