Our rooms were clean & spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our meal at The Collins Bar so much we went back the second night and ordered the same. The supreme of chicken was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious.

The deluxe rooms were nice but not exceptional.
Nice pool but a little shallow.

I liked that there was a lot of art through out the hotel that was labelled with the name of the piece and the artist. I also really liked the record player in the room. It was also a bonus that Netflix actually worked on the TV because this is surprisingly hard to come by in most hotels these days.

Bláithín was an excellent host not only did we have good communication ahead of time but she also gave us some great tips about the local area. Theroom was exactly like the photos and was comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a tranquil break but also close to Cork city. Thank you ☺️

Check in and out was quick and efficient. Barman was very professional, friendly and chatty. Food was amazing in bar/restaurant and a nice pint of Beamish too. Young lady serving a lovely fresh breakfast was very polite and professional too. Will definitely stay again and hopefully on vacation next time. Regards, Steve Wexford.

I loved the view from our room waking up to such beautiful scenery every morning was wonderful. I originally wanted to stay in cobh but im so so glad I didn’t Monkstown was far nicer. The car ferry from Monkstown to cobh took 3 minutes crossing at a cost of €8 return and was excellent service rather than driving in traffic. We used the ferry each day to go to Cobh and visit the attractions we wanted to see and then return to the Bosun for dinner and a few drinks and the back to our lovely room.
