Hotel location was very central and able to walk to a lot of the must sees. We felt safe walking at 6:30 am to the Molly Malone statue to meet our day tour. We arrived back about 7:30 pm and it was fine walking back to the hotel. Breakfast was awesome and staff was very friendly.

I liked that the village was very walkable and I could even walk to and from Dublin City Centre from there ( a long walk if you are not a frequent walker). Rathgar itself had a lovely bookstore, an awesome antiques shop, conveniences and welcoming pubs. I recommend Brady's (a 10 minute walk from my guesthouse), and The 108, which was a 5 minute walk for me. Both these pubs had very good food and atmosphere.

Will we stay again?
Will we stay again? Probably but maybe only for 1-2 nights maximum, and not 5.
Lets face it , dublin is expensive. You cant ask for 5star, yet it was disasspointing to not have the room cleaned half the time and that you had to ask for room cleaning ( something you only know once you are in the room ).
There is no staff, it is unmanned; there is a sink in the room not in the toilet; the room is small . This we knew beforehand , so zero complaints there.
The TV, only a few local channels worked, but we werent there to watch tv anyway.
The ammenities were good and fair and the bed was good. Staff over the phone was helpful.

Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre.
Away from hustle & bustle of Dublin City centre. Good local cafes, bars, restaurants & shops + short walk or bus to Terenure or Rathmines for more choice.
City centre is only quick bus journey, (use a leep card to save money) away for tourist destinations & night life.

Totally unorganized. They sent me my codes after I left. I also received an email that I was never there. The room was not clean and the location is far from downtown. I would not recommend this place

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable and well...
Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable and well located. A few minor issues, the numbers on the press pad on the front door were difficult to see, there was stale water in the kettle and the coffee machine and there was not enough towels. Parking was on a first come basis butI was too late to get it. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience and I would have no hesitation reccomding no 9 as a good place to stay
The location is within easy walking distance of busses to Dublin City Center. A supermarket, cafe, deli and pharmacy are also nearby. The location is quiet. It is a residential street but near to the village and a bus ride to downtown. The breakfast is not a full meal, yet, access to a small kitchenette that is actually well stocked with basics was all that was needed for a quick bite in the morning. The Fat Cat Cafe, a short walk away, is a great place for breakfast.
Guest House is in a central residential location. Compact clean room with excellent shower in a small but well equipped en suite. Helpful, friendly owner. Despite the fact that breakfast was not included, you could serve yourself from a well stocked kitchenette with cereals, milk, orange juice and tea/ coffee facilities ( in addition to tea/ coffee and kettle in bedroom.) I will stay here again!
The hotels location is great if you can't fund something in the city centre. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. The room was basic but it was clean and had everything that you needed. It was quite spacious in comparison to other properties in Dublin. I like the digital access and that I didn't have to worry about keys or cards. The staff, although completely remote, were good to respond.
The room was quiet, comfortable and clean and good value for money. The location was handy to Terenure and Rathgar and bus stop to the city centre. It was nice to have coffee and tea-making facilities and a fridge - though there was a half-drunk bottle of wine left in it from previous guest (I hated having to pour it out). Shower pressure was good with plenty of hot water.
Lovely spacious room in a period property within easy access of Rathgar Village and transport links to the city. The property has a kitchenette with tea, coffee making facilities and fruit, yoghurts and bread for self service breakfast. Use of large drawing room
Very clean and comfortable room with a modern shower room. The location was as expected when the booking was made. Access to the property and the room was by PIN Code and no staff were present at the hotel, making for a COVID-19 secure stay
There was good communication between the hotel and me. The room was nice and comfortable. The location was nice and in easy walking distance of a grocery and food.
Very nice house, clean rooms, very friendly staff couldnt do enough to help as we had some trouble getting there. Allowed us to check in late once we had arrived
Very clean, warm, very friendly and helpful staff, close to bus station, bars and grocery stores. Very good price compared to similar properties in Dublin.
