This B&B is like a 5 star hotel! The attention to detail, the comfort and the attentiveness of the host. It is located perfectly, very close to all main attractions. The breakfast was not included but worth having. Lovely local food cooked to order. Thank you Pauline for everything.

The location is great. 20-25 minute drive from Waterford, and the room looks right over the coast. You can walk straight to the beach. The staff who checked me in was super friendly and accommodating, even though she told me she wasn't expecting a guest. The sound of the waves at night had me asleep in no time. The restaurant part of the bar is closed during the winter season though. Room was a good size, bathroom was mostly clean and serviceable, bed was comfy. The heater in the room worked very well. Situated on a beautiful golf course with a small garden in the back. Many on-site restaurants. The breakfast is excellent and the staff was friendly. The room accommodations were high end.

Staff - especially the hotel manager, the manager of the dining room and a young blonde waitress that I think was named Oloney - went beyond expectations to make our visit extraordinary. They helped us to arrange for a private area for us to meet with some of our Irish family. I believe that the hotel made a decent profit on the food and bar charges and that our family had a wonderful evening. Staff at the reception desk also very helpful.

In the picturesque village of Ballinaboola, the family-run Horse and Hound Inn offers rooms with private bathrooms and 2 bars, off route N25. There is free private parking and free internet access.
