I stayed one week at Hotel Mewar, after searching online for hours for a hotel with good rating, staff that spoke English, close to airport, and not too far from Khempur village (the reason for going to Rajasthan). My deluxe room was large, with air-conditioning, and not too much street noise. Overall service was excellent, the most personal attention I've ever received from any hotel (even 5-star hotels) in the 40 years I've traveled for business and pleasure. I was visiting from USA. Devendra, the day manager checked on me often and made sure I was provided everything I needed, especially after I was injured at the skateboard park. Before that, I was provided transportation and a wonderful driver (Raju) every day for travel within Rajasthan. The onsite restaurant offered several types of cuisines and a large selection.

Magnificent property, live music all around and a luxurious stay. Hotel staffs were very helpful and courteous.. special mention and appreciation to Prathamesh, Preetam. They did their best to make our stay memorable. In the lobby area and entrance area, there’s whole day long Rajasthani folk songs, local music.. Ghumar dance during evening and live music during dinner makes the ambience very special. Restaurant managers and chefs personally attends the table to understand/customize food requirements. A 150 year old temple inside the property is a must see and there’re some good piece of paintings and chandeliers. Anytime private boat rides in Lake Pichola was very relaxing. Big thanks to all the Leela staffs.
